WELCOME TO THE EAGLE LAKE FISHING GALLERY

Our GALLERY is our top bookmarked page on our website(s). It is also the only photo gallery available any where that includes every season all year long at Eagle Lake Ca. Since we live in Spalding at the northwest shore of Eagle Lake’s middle basin, we have the opportunity to be here to take photographs and share our adventures so our viewers can keep up with our wonderful Eagle Lake. Many of our visitors are not able to come up between January 1 and opening weekend but they still wish they could. Our aim is to bring you here any day of the week and any time of the year. Consider us your “Virtual Eagle Lake”. Our photos and pages are copyright protected & fully registered with the Library of Congress. We are not affiliated with any agency and we are not a tourism website. We have no financial gain in what we do.

  • ELT Jumping at Pine Creek

I don’t claim to be a photographer, I just take pictures and share what the camera sees. I don’t have professional camera but during this time of year I wish I did as well as knowing how to use it. The pictures are not good nor good quality but the intention is to show you what it is like. I was able to catch some photos of our trout jumping at the cement dam/weir on Pine Creek. As I went through the photos I decided to simply add an additional album rather than putting them in the Spawn album. I believe the slide show for this album would make for a more enjoyable experience. I am dabbling with some video clips and if I am lucky and can keep the size down I’ll upload it. The fish will continue to head upstream and CDFG will be collecting eggs. Take note that when ambient temperatures are cold and the creek temp drops the trout don’t move upstream. However, they are in the creek and are visible milling around. A warm spring afternoon will generally produce a show! If you can’t be here to see it I hope you enjoy the photos.
